Our Story
Owners: Seth and Heather Stimson
Seth Stimson is a 2002 graduate from MidAmerica Nazarene University where he majored in Business Administration. Seth played basketball for MNU, and was part of the 2001 national runner-up Pioneer team! The team won close to 120 games during the four years Seth played. This experience, unknowingly, prepared Seth for dealing with the ups and downs that go along with owning his own business!
After graduating college and working in a cubicle for two years, Seth had had enough! He needed to be outside and was ready to take on the challenge of owning and operating his own business.
Seth was able to buy a lawn and tree business from a friend who just happened to be getting out of it. It seemed that it was meant to be. Under Seth’s leadership and a lot of hard work, study, hands-on experience, and prayer; the landscaping maintenance business has grown into a professionally-owned company!
Heather is a 2004 graduate of MidAmerica Nazarene University with a degree in Organizational Leadership. She became an owner when Seth
and Heather were married in January of 2007. She is great at creating marketing flyers, logos, cards, etc. She is also an invaluable consultant
on business decisions.
The newest addition to SSS Lawn and Tree is Miss McKinlee Ruth Stimson. Born on March 3rd, 2011. McKinlee is the first daughter of the owners Seth and Heather Stimson.
SSS Lawn & Tree LLC is based in Olathe, Kansas but services the entire Kansas City Metro area.
